Record Employee Health Screenings, Hand Washing, & Sanitization
Closing down the majority of businesses and organizations we enjoy in our daily lives due to COVID-19 was thought to be an impossible task. Federal, State and Local agencies seemed to implement new shutdowns daily, and requirements which ultimately led to a 100% stay at home initiative. Looking back, shutting down was pretty easy. We learned very quickly that if we stop doing what we normally do every day, staying home can prevent you and your family members from getting infected or spreading the virus.
Opening businesses back up is going to be much different than it was before the lockdown. Everyone is terrified of the virus and the damage it could cause if we do not properly reopen businesses. We do not want to get ourselves or loved ones sick. Going back to work, going out to eat, or just getting back to our past day to day tasks is going be really difficult. During the self-quarantine, we trusted and counted on our family members. We all practiced good hygiene on the same level. We knew it was a package deal. If you were cautious and one of your kids were not, you were all at risk. Families worked together to stop the spread and ultimately worked hard to keep their household healthy.
We now have to put that same amount of trust in people that we may not know as well as our family members. We’re going to have to trust people whom we have never met: the retail store clerk, the restaurant server, the bag boy at your local grocer, and even the people who you have worked with for a long time.
For years workers would wake up with a sore throat or slight fever and chalk it up to a bad night of sleep, or they think, “I’ll feel better once I get to work.” We did not even think about missing a day of work if we felt a little under the weather. This way of thinking needs to change. Now, people who plan to interact with society need to think twice before they go out, and screen their health to make sure they do not allow this virus to flare back up.
Personal Health Screenings and Verification
The Slate Pages App cost-effectively gives business owners the ability to immediately implement a personal health screening plan with their employees.
Keeping our businesses safe and documenting our efforts will be good in the long run for our business, our employees, and most of all our customers!
Prior to their shift, employees open up the Slate Pages app on their smartphone and perform a pre-shift health screening. The Slate App saves & timestamps the employee’s or volunteer’s health screening. Their health screening is chronologically saved & is accessible on the employee’s Slate (QR code), as well as on the admin portal.
Leadership and management can sign into the portal and have the ability to sort, print out, or export historical employee health screenings.
